British Security Awards: Winners announced!

BSIA Honours Security Excellence at Annual London Ceremony

On July 3, 2024, the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) hosted its 27th annual British Security Awards at the Royal Lancaster London. The event, returning to a live format, celebrated outstanding achievements in the security sector over the past 18 months.

The ceremony recognized the dedication of security professionals and companies in safeguarding people, property, and locations. A total of 19 awards were presented to distinguished security officers and businesses before an audience of clients and industry leaders.

Notable additions to the event included the Chairman’s Award, the SaferCash Awards, and the Police Partnership Initiative Award. Martin Watson, the BSIA’s newly elected Chairman, presided over the award presentations. Deputy Chief Constable Jayne Meir of Northumbria Police had the honor of presenting the SaferCash awards.

This prestigious gathering underscored the BSIA’s commitment to acknowledging excellence within the security industry, highlighting the crucial role of security professionals in maintaining safety and protection across various sectors.

BSIA Chief Executive Mike Reddington commented on the awards, emphasizing the honor of recognizing industry professionals for their innovation, commitment, and excellence.
