As of April 5, 2023, our latest reporting date, ZAM’s median gender pay gap has seen a slight increase to 7.3% from 6.8%. However, this remains below the UK national average of 14.3% (ONS). Encouragingly, our mean pay gap has decreased to 11.2%.

At ZAM FM Ltd, we believe transparency regarding workforce diversity and compensation is crucial for driving meaningful change. For the third consecutive year, we’re voluntarily disclosing our ethnicity pay gap as of April 5, 2023, using the same methodology as our statutory gender pay gap reporting.

Our median ethnicity pay gap, which measures the difference between the midpoint hourly rates for white and racially diverse colleagues, has improved from 1.1% in 2022 to -1.3%.

Commitment to Fair Compensation: We understand that fair remuneration is crucial for our employees’ well-being and motivation. As a Recognised Service Provider with the Living Wage Foundation, we ensure all directly employed ZAM FM Ltd colleagues receive the real Living Wage. We also promote this standard in our new business proposals and encourage our clients to adopt the real Living Wage where feasible.

Apprenticeship Programs
Our organization proudly supports over 570 apprentices across various contract portfolios. In the previous fiscal year, we invested £5 million in the Apprenticeship Levy scheme. We’ve established partnerships with specialized providers to ensure the delivery of top-tier learning experiences that align with both individual aspirations and organizational objectives.

ZAM FM Ltd Sales Academy
Cultivating Future Sales Professionals January 2019 marked the launch of our innovative ZAM FM Ltd Sales Academy, a comprehensive year-long sales apprenticeship program. This initiative trained 12 promising recruits, guiding them to achieve a prestigious Level Four sales certification from the Association of Professional Sales (APS). Funded through the Apprenticeship Levy, this groundbreaking project lays a solid foundation for future professional apprenticeship initiatives.

Learning Hub
Empowering Continuous Growth In 2018, we introduced ‘Learning Hub’, a cutting-edge digital learning platform designed for our colleagues. This resource offers an extensive library of educational content, covering diverse topics from Active Listening to Report Writing, and spanning areas such as Business Skills and Workplace Wellbeing. The platform caters to various learning styles through interactive videos, audio lessons, engaging games, and insightful quizzes.
