ZAM Facility Management is committed to addressing the issue of modern slavery in accordance with Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We maintain a zero-tolerance approach and strive to conduct our business ethically, fairly, and with full respect for fundamental human rights. Our dedication extends to preventing slavery, forced labour, servitude, child labour, and human trafficking within both our business operations and supply chains. The ZAM Foundation, established by us, focuses on assisting vulnerable individuals in deprived areas globally.

Key Areas of Focus

We regularly review our list of approved suppliers and have implemented additional checks to enhance our system. We are also taking proactive steps to improve employee engagement within our organization.

Business Structure

ZAM Facility Management is a privately owned and highly reputable business that provides professional Facility management services across the UK. We rely on a dedicated workforce and diverse trusted business partners to deliver these services. To ensure a robust approach across all operations, we have employed an experienced risk and compliance manager who coordinates the implementation of relevant and effective processes, procedures, and policies. Their role is to communicate these standards to the team and promote compliance.

Due Diligence

Our company conducts employment screening and background checks in accordance with British Standard BS7858. We regularly undergo internal and external audits to ensure we comply with this standard. Moreover, we maintain a list of approved suppliers and conduct various checks on their standards and accreditations to ensure the integrity of our supply chain.

Training & Awareness

All senior leaders receive Modern Slavery training, and staff receive induction, briefings, and handbooks that integrate awareness of Modern Slavery.

Responding to Concerns

We encourage everyone involved with our operations to promptly alert us to any suspicions of modern slavery or human trafficking. Thorough investigations, documentation, and reporting of such cases, along with necessary actions, are undertaken. We collaborate closely with relevant authorities and agencies in these matters.
