Darrian was attacked in Rawnsley Park in the Easton area of Bristol on Wednesday. The accused teens, who have also been charged with possessing a knife in public, remain in custody and are expected to appear in Bristol youth court on Monday.
In a statement, police said: “The major crime investigation team is leading the inquiry into [Darrian’s] death and the Crown Prosecution Service has authorized charges of murder against two 15-year-old boys following a review of evidence.”

Seeking to reassure students, Detective Inspector Neil Meade said officers discussed support strategies with headteachers Friday and will patrol outside schools next week.
“Our thoughts tonight are with Darrian’s family,” Meade stated. “Knife crime destroys lives and we’re committed to working jointly to educate youth about consequences and prevent such tragedies.”
